Introduction

 Have you ever heard about mission San Buenaventura? If you haven't you certanly will today.1760 was the first  year that mission San Buenaventura was built. In 1810 they were done building mission San Buenaventura. Fray Serra was the one who started my mission, and he decided to place it near a Chumash village. The reason why my mission was built was to teach Catholicism to Native Americans and to grow crops.
